And this. Even though I had a surround sound headset, so I could EASILY abuse the OP sit rep, it just made everything too easy. But if you weren't using it other headsets had an unfair advantage..... reminds me of D2's NL PvP (regarding hacks); either don't use 'em and get wrecked by most kids who do, or do use 'em and you always dominate but it's just not fun.

I can do fine w/o sitrep

..regardless of what perks you're using yourself, someone else with sitrep can still hear you, so I just stick with dead silence and if I happen to unlock sitrep after 8 kills with specialist, then whatever.

I miss old D2 hacks like gmod..even RA. Old bm duels were fun as hell. Once people started to auto-juv, auto-tp and auto-chicken, then the D2 scene was ruined imo. I also never used a HDin and did well with a smite/charge pally and a pnb nec. I think a more accurate analogy would be to compare sitrep pro to HDins. They're easy mode, but you don't need it to win.
