the thing about it is preaiming should always be an advantage, otherwise it serves no function, control of an area should always be an advantage, and the other team should be punished for giving up it, it's like saying in league "oh my team never contests dragon....... but i want the benefits of dragon without actually doing any work for it !"
call of duty doesn't take skill to shoot people, anybody can do that and that's never been what separates pros from top level snd players, it's smarts, situational awareness, teamwork, and space control, THAT is what call of duty is about. shooting people is just a side effect of all those things.
E: and yesh, MWR Wagers are fun, i've been watching alot of jay's tournaments/wagers while modding in his chat. i don't typically watch cod though, it's a game that usually bores me to watch but i love playing.
I think your point is more relativant in AW, but the adjustments made to BO3, and even moreso IW, have nerfed boosting's capabilities quite a bit imo. Clutching in BO3/IW is actually possible compared to AW. Anyone could be anywhere at anytime in AW. The automantling is not forgiving in IW from my experience so far. I've died a lot while shooting over dropoffs..lol. You either have enough boost or you have to stop shooting to lean towards the ledge. Shooting and gripping at the last second has to be precise.
I hope things go back to boots on the ground, but I at the same time I still think boosting in BO3/IW is fine in its own right. I loved the skill gap of SnD lines of sight on Fringe for example. I learned something new every time I watched a tourney.

You're riding IW dick too hard to reason with, learn what lag comp is.
Remmington was never cheap in Ghosts, honey badger was.
An astute observation. The ad hominem cleared everything up. I agree with you now /s
From my personal experience: MW2 good connection. BO1 poor connection. MW3 good/decent connection. BO2 poor/decent connection. Ghosts good connection. AW poor connection. BO3 good connection.
I've watched every video there is describing lag comp, so I know what it is. The intention is to provide the same experience for everyone, but when someone has really bad internet and someone has really good internet, there will be varying results.
That being said, you most likely have poor internet, live remotely, or are attributing poor reflexes to getting killed fast. You probably don't realize your footsteps made noise, you're on radar, a silenced weapon makes noise, a skull shows on the map where you killed someone, someone knows the common routes better, has better decision-making skills, and/or knows the spawns better than you. If I died in ghosts, then it was my fault, not the connection.
You use a silencer?
