Bo3 wasn't that bad imo. I disliked the special ability addition and felt that it made the game more noob friendly. Also the Pay to win weapons got a little fucking out of hand at times. However, I liked the original maps, I thought weapon variety was decent and there was at least a few different viable weapons per class. As has been the case for the past few cods, each and every DLC was fucking trash. People need to stop paying for these or they're never going to bother trying to put out good ones. I fucking hate buying any of them, it makes the game significantly worse with each DLC map you add into your rotation for pubs. They're all so fucking bad.
Thought it was better than AW at least. IW is the first Cod since MW2 that I haven't bought. I'm going to wait for a year or two and hope the franchise gets back to it's roots. I'd like to see a WW or WW2 era game with sprinting, sliding, drop shotting etc.. But no wall running, crazy jumping or special abilities. If you want to do special shit, add in a halo element where strong weapons get dropped in a couple times a game and people need to plan accordingly to tactically work together to get map control and push those weapons for a slight advantage. Go back to the basics on killstreaks, even reuse some of the old higher tier ones since those have all sucked dick for three games in a row.
Just thinking out loud here (sorry for that), but I doubt we'll see a good Cod again until they chill the fuck out and stop with all this rainbow 420 swag bullshit and go back to it being a game that's actually about war. The problem is that it still sells REALLY well. There's no reason for them to change anything if they keep making bank. Cod is like the Michael Bay of videogames. Everyone knows it's fucking terrible, but it makes money, so they'll keep making the same old shit over and over.

Halo 5 > Any Cod since Bo2. It's a damn good game. Runs smooth, hit detection is fantastic, ranked playlist variety is fantastic, and it's nice being able to play pubs against actually good people when you hit Onyx, rather than being forced to use a third party site to find games against difficult people or just pub stomping all day. Increased weapon variety has been nice, I love the pistol. Perfect kills are awesome and give you something to work for. The assassinations and customization isn't too shabby, I ofc have them turned off since you'll just get yourself killed or get your kill stolen, but the game is actually good. Easily the best FPS for console at the moment.

Jesus Christ kid. How can anyone have an ego this inflated about fucking Cod today? Are you pro? Are you at least a 4 digit? If not, stfu and stop acting like you're good because you can pub stomp. I've never played with him, so I have no idea how good he is, but I'd rather play with a noob than a fucking ragey arrogant shit who thinks his pub stats matter to anyone.
