assault rifles are the quickest and easiest things to get gold/diamond, even though there is 7 of them. I would say I got all 7 AR's gold in half the time it took me to get the 4 shotguns gold.

For Longshots for the AR's, USE THE VARIX 3 SCOPE! It literally cuts logshot distance in half! Not sure if intended or if it will be patched, but long shots is more like mid range. It's very easy!

Snipers are super easy and beast when you get the ELO sight, bringing back the old WaW iron sight snipers. Very fun to mess with.

Get the Shotguns diamond first and everything is a breeze.

I played on Nuketown for the most part, as it's the only really fun map on BO3 so far. You also get about 20-50% more kills on average than regular maps due to close spacing and ease of holding corners.

LMG's are probably the easiest to get Diamond next to AR's because they're the same as Assault rifles minus High caliber (the main reason why AR's are so super easy).

First Pistol is the most OP weapon in game imo. No lie, at least for me. I've got a good trigger finger and used to be accused of using a modded controller by friends who did use them. Highest balance between damage/range/accuracy/mobility/kill speed.

do you use high caliber im guessing?

It should go without saying, if you are aiming to get the 100 headshots, High Caliber is a must if applicable (only AR's got it).

There is no effective headshot multiplier, which makes me not like the game in the sense it takes away the skill aspect. No point in aiming -- just get chest shots, it'll hit accurately and kill them the most effectively.

Headshot multiplier might be like 1.1-1.3, but it's not effective enough to reduce the amount of hits to kill, unless in very few and rare situations where you might hit a leg shot and the distance changed drastically.

Rather than hitting someone 3-6 times in the head, it's a lot easier to hit them 1-2 times (Shieva is 1 shot head shot with High Caliber short to mid range). Burst guns like the XR-2 and M8 will have their recoil flick up and basically kill someone instantly.

I could get up to 30 headshots per game with High Caliber, for everything else I averaged ~15 per game.

I can't remember if the pistols have high caliber or not honestly, I stopped using them when I got them finished and they were the first things to get done after shotguns.

Nuketown is the best for headshots obv, and easiest for longshots obv.

Haymaker is the worst gun and I'd advise doing it first. You will go insane but everything is cake after it. Shot guns are pretty easy though other than the Haymaker.

Headshots are really easy in this game since literally all Call of Duty games have little to no skill involved. Aiming for the head is super easy and aside from aim punch, theres no real sense of actual spread/recoil inaccuracy.

On Nuke Town, and most other maps as well if you dont wanna do Nuketown, you can easily average 10-30 headshots per game.

edit: I do remember that the first pistol is the most overpowered weapon in the game for me.

Wait are you suggesting for him to just go boost for it, or suggest that I boosted for it?

I can't stand hard core although I do see how you could easily boost on that lol. I didn't boost at all, just no lifed Nuke Town because I enjoy it far more than any other Black Ops 3 map.

I'm currently working on Gold/Hero Camo for my Specialists, just finished getting all of the basic challenges for them all. Now to get the Hero stuff :)

For those that don't know, you need to get 4x Kills per Ability in a single game 4 times, and 6x Kills per weapon in a single game 6 times. Some variation depending on the specialist but that's the main focus. It's pretty easy compared to the other challenges (like getting the double kills after Glitch with it's 2-3 second time window and inconsistent teleporting)

Idk if they patched in in 1.04 but it used to be 6 kills in a single round (if doing domination, demolition, etc...). Which was/is alot harder than getting double kills. For abilities its just too easy tho

This new patch, they also buffed Dark Matter -- increasing brightness, amount on the weapon (i.e. KN44 had a plate that wasn't affected, and is now mostly consumed by skin, as well as the barrel). I just logged in and was like holy shit, this looks so much better now.
