It would kinda have to be Modern Warfare 2 if they only picked one game. They would be fools to remaster anything else

Oh god yes! More remasters and rereleases! So they can sell 70$ garbage with 0$ development budget! Just add anti-aliasing and it's done! WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE! More old games done quick. We're living sad times, fellows...

I see what you're getting at but strongly disagree.

I put so many hours into MW2 (even came back to it almost 5 years after original release) so whatever I paid for it originally was well, well, well worth it.

Unfortunately, because it's old, hacked and (for the most part) dead, I can't really play it anymore. I would have no problem whatsoever spending another $70 on it if it means I get to play it again for a long time with no hacks and a full community.

In the end, people like me (millions) are going to buy COD regardless every year. I'd rather have it be an older game that I absolutely love than some of the new junk they've put out like AW.

The only way you can get me to buy a remastered game, specifically old call of duties like the modern warfares, is if you include every map pack they have. Also, the game play and balancing has to stay EXACTLY the same. That means dangerclose noob tubes, quickscoping, commando tac knifing, shotguns as secondaries, juggernaut cod4... anything that people got pissed about has to stay in the game.

This is what made them fun experiences. I don't need the memories of my favorite call of duties ruined with attempts to balance the game by make 1-3 guns superior to all others.

"Super shotgun seasonal pass for September! Only $9.95"
"Homing explosion sniper with wallhack ocular for August! Only $12.95"
"Omnislash knife of distance for holiday season! only $29.95! Stab from another side of the map!"

How fun would that be? Thank me later, I'm emailing Activision now. I'm also making a proposal that they add advertisements into the game. Fox example, you'll have to watch a short unskippable 30s video before respawn. Future of console gaming. It's just behind the corner with all these remaster-versions

You have a good point. If I had to bet, I'd say they'd change some things to try to make it "better" but they'd probably end up doing more harm than good.
