Compared to the 360, the xbox one truly is a piece of shit. The interface is trash, and anything related to social interaction is trash. Nothing is simple or intuitive. They broke a perfectly functioning wheel to incorporate useless/flaky voice commands. I never played ghosts on the xbone, but the match-making for AW is just terrible, so I'm not sure if it's game or console-related. I've had to hard restart my console many times due to trying to game with friends. Parties have to be remade frequently to get everyone in. Notifications get broken and don't send. Some notifications will send you into a random game and remain glitched, continuing to always direct to that random game.
Unless you want to talk via skype while playing multiplayer games with friends, then I don't think it's worth it. There's no such thing as 'play through both,' so you have to trick it to work if you ever wanted to record the voice of someone else. Also, appearing offline doesn't hide you from people wanting to join in session. This is mostly a problem for streamers with trolls.
