Thermal and Tracker Sight are things I'm definitely against.
In MW2 I would never use explosives unless it was Wasteland, in which I used noob-tube, RPG and C4 with Danger Close lol.
I do use "OP" guns because usually everyone else is using them, too, and it's too much of a disadvantage not to. Each kill/death is too important in SND to risk using a clearly inferior weapon. Currently playing AW, I seem to mostly use gun fights against the Insanity or Speakeasy.
It depends on which CoD. For example, on MW2 the rangers require no AIM at all, plus they 1-shot. While the AA12 is still very strong, it still requires some aim and time to kill. I also avoid using the UMP because it changes how people play when they die to it. I'm using a strong secondary in close quarters all the time, but when it's long/mid-range, I can still get away with using the vector with the added bonus that people aren't going to rage and swap to a douche class to counter me. The ACR might be a laser, but the M4A1 is just as good, plus I prefer the famas ability to 1-burst. The M16/tar/scar are good, plus even the AK hits hard..so many good guns. I don't necessarily care if I die to a remington on ghosts, but if I die to it, then it means the person is camping, and since I enjoy rushing and rushing works well in ghosts, I prefer to not use ARs that much in general.
