bo2 never had an issue with hit detection. it was the first game that fixed it. We had BO1 where you couldn't hit a god damn thing because the hit detection was absolute trash, along with lag being rather prevalent. MW3 initially was pretty bad with the hit detection too (of course not nearly as bad as BO1), but BO2 is and has always been perfectly synced/on point with the hit detection.

The knifing has no rhyme or reason as to when a knife does or doesn't connect, especially in regards to the distance. I have been 1-shot to the feet more than once by a sniper/remington, and since that mathematically isn't possible, that means my hitbox isn't aligned with my avatar, or the weapon balance is illogical. The turning animation doesn't align with the direction the enemy is actually facing. They often shoot out of the sides of their character. Often automatic weapons have seemingly 1-shot killtimes. Getting shot around corners isn't too bad, but it happens..and when it does, it's severe. I moreso experience camera angle and field of view deaths where I don't see the person, but the person sees me. I might be in bad connection lobbies often, even with amazing internet, but that's not a problem in MW2 or ghosts. The only difference between a 2-3 bar and a 4-bar on MW2 is whether or not I can use the famas.. and maybe not having enough time to kill a jitter user with my AA12. A bad connection in BO2 means anything could happen. Getting host in BO2 also means nothing. It feels like a detriment. The 2-shot ability of the FAL/tac45 also exacerbate the issue, as well as the 1-shot ability of the DSR/remington to anywhere on the body.

I recommend muting and just watching the clips. Feel free to say I'm just bad, I have bad aim, and that I got outplayed. The proof is there. This discussion isn't even subjective as to how the game plays.

If that's not enough proof of me being terrible..here's another vid.

i'd say i enjoyed bo2 more than any other cod

What was your first CoD and what time during the life cycle did you start playing it?

Zombies is one of the only reasons why ppl bought their cods tbh

It's the best idea they've came up with will continue ofc

I played BO2 zombies twice iirc. I played ghosts alien thing once. That was enough for me.

Yeah the knifing was admittedly pretty terrible when the game was first released...but then again, who knifes?? I can't recall being killed when shot in the waist or lower on BO2, but I'm not gonna say you haven't. The connection was sometimes clunky providing less accurate shooting, but i don't think that it would be credited to hitboxes; I think it should be credited to the "genius idea" of lag compensation that CoD implemented just the year prior.

so judging on how you hated BO1 and 2, would you say that Brandon's statement holds merit in your eyes?
IMO Treyarch's multiplayer is very lackluster.

I know people who practically exclusively play zombies, so I bet it does.

Did you watch the clips in those vids at all? You can mute the commentary if you want.
