most folk like to sit on a couch and relax when they're playing games, not be all hunched up at a desk sweating two inches from your monitor.

Monitors>Tv's for performance but i enjoy playing on a tv more.

Small screens are only superior if you have good control. Sniping is loads easier to

But nothing beats sitting on a couch laying 5 feet away playing titanfall sorry

I used to be a competitive pc gamer so monitors are kinda home to me, obviously big tv couch etc for a more luxurious experience, however doesn't change the fact that monitors are far superior, however not for everyone of course.

IMO if you plan on investing any time into fps games as a casual player id reccomend a monitor, 100-200 for a decent-good one. Not only for try hards

It's been proven smaller screens are far superior no matter how used to a big screen you are.

Think what you want, but i dont see any difference tbh. Im constantly switching from small to big screen, it take me like 3-4 games to get used to it. Same thing for splitscreen. It has been "proven"? Yeh, maybe by some people who spent there whole life on a small screen then switched to a bigger one and was bad, so they said it sucks.

It just take skills

This thread is a prime example of why we shouldn't let Zane make threads anymore..
2 years ago maybe, that's when the CoD Section was cool.

:sadpanda:

By the way, Monitors a proven to be better FOR playing games.
Whether you're a casual or a hardcore gamer you will notice a difference when playing on a monitor versus a TV.
Input lag, shitty pixel density and response time are reasons why playing games on TV's isn't up to par.
Yea, Some peoples preference is to lay on their bed or sit on their couch to play games, immersing themselves with a Surround System and a Big Screen..
Personally I used to be like that but I switched to 23.6" ASUS Monitors, with a Top of line headset. Why because it was more convenient for my household. With a headset you don't shake the house during a epic cinematic, like with a Surround System.
Since I switched I definitely would recommend using a Monitor and Headset for gaming. In the long run it's usually more expensive to go monitors, headset, and a chair that you can sit in for the hours of gaming you are about to do, but in the end its worth it. ;)
