I have no memory of demo/HQ ever being fun on MW2 due to tubes. I always play the objective, but generally those modes sucked in 6v6. I enjoyed demo in team tac since rust demo was hectic as fuck. Would've really, really sucked having you on my team. Also, I always hated dropping rounds in demo for more kills, because depending on the map we would sometimes still end up losing if someone wasn't running nuke. Drop zone is what ruined MW3 montages. There isn't a single MW3 montage that has impressive drop zone clips.. avoiding the objective while killing oblivious people not shooting at you while they capture packages is awful to watch.
MW2 SnD is pretty much the best it gets. Highest in 4 rounds was 19-0.
I forgot to change my killstreaks after playing demolition on mw2 and ended up getting a nuke in SnD on skidrow. Once i got to like 15 i told my friends to quit killing people lmao.
