Rules are listed so its easy to read / follow. So I do t understand why you would mess up anyway.

And for the first few times I played, I didn't have a mic so they didn't ask me if I made sure the rules were right or anything

People should follow the rules regardless of when they joined. If it says you have to set it up a certain way...you have to set it up that way. I haven't been on there in a while but if I remember correctly it even says the consequences for screwing up. This is 100% his fault, not theirs. I understand that it is gay that the other people won even though they actually didn't but people just need to be more careful. I bet he learns his lesson. You won't learn the proper way to do things if people just let you get away with it all the time.
