this is the logic of the quote:

good people do good things. evil people do evil things. religion makes good people do evil things.

here's the logical flaw. if good people do good things and bad people do bad things, religion couldn't make a good person do a bad thing because of the aforementioned definitions. a bad person would do bad things in the name of religion, sure. but you've established the "good do good" and "bad do bad" framework, so you've got to operate the rest of your idea within that context. there's a reason why nobody takes weinberg seriously on anything non-physics related..

there's no hate here, unless you really want to call my aversion to general ignorance a "hatred of ignorance"..
