That's precisely why SPM is the best way to rank skill. I don't know how many top 1k people I've killed back in MW3 SnD. Every time I saw someone ranked really high I would check the lobby KDRs/WL. It just means they play a lot. In BO2 there are countless 2+ KDR players with sub 90 SPMs.

I would have to intetionally try to die to get anything less than a 1.5 KDR. Even people using the excuse of using shitty weapons or just messing around should have at least a 1.5 KDR.

Yes, yes. Stats mean nothing at all. Bad accuracy means you were just spraying with a LMG for the lulz. Bad KDR and WL just mean you were trying to get gold with the S12 and the riot shield. We get it. All the bad stat'd people on CoD are all secret warriors when they're not having a gay ol' time when they're not 360 YY noscoping.

kdr means nothing most of the time. I've kicked the shit out of people with 3+ kdr's, while I've seen people with .9 kdr's play objectively and with purpose besides to get a good kdr.

My kdr is only like 1.5-1.9 in all CoDs because I play objectively and with fun weapons, 95% of the time.

SPM literally only reflects what game type you play as a majority. KD is the only "semi" accurate reflection of skill compared to the average player.

I'm referring to SnD only SPM. My overall SPM means nothing since it doesn't remotely compare to respawn game modes like you mentioned. Within SnD I see people with 2+ KDRs with 70 SPM, whereas I also have a 2+ KDR, but also have a 130+ SPM. It means I maintain a good KDR and play the objective and try to win games fast and strategically, rather than camping and slow-playing. I play with ImMarksman all the time and he maintains 200+ SPMs on both of his accounts within SnD, which just blows my mind.

I could invest that much time for 10th prestige and I'd probably have the same KDA.

We're talking about getting high scores in pubs here.

you always come off as being angsty and/or butthurt. i'd love to learn more about the source of your issues, because then maybe i might be able to understand your thought process. it seems pretty broken atm.. although i don't think i'll ever understand people like you who always get their jimmies rustled when people use generalizations. do you really expect an excel spreadsheet when you hear someone say "a lot of black people like rap music". do you want to see the names of all the black people who do or don't like rap music.

playing the objective in snd implies you move to plant or defend the bomb. camping in spawn won't help and it will show with a lower SPM. "zerg rushing" as you put it is how you gain map control on a lot of maps. it generally produces more kills and more wins when you have map control. some maps benefit more from methodical gameplay though. i used 'and' between 'fast' and 'strategically'.

keep thinking GB is competitive. i'm sure your theory crafting sessions are a hoot.
