It's all in your head. I personally wouldn't waste an attachment slot on an smg using target finder.

As for lmg or assault rifles, some guns I would use it, but most not. I can handle the iron sights on most guns.

I always hear people crying during the game about getting killed by a target finder, and I dont know why. It's not a big deal. If the red squares popping up when they look at you is what bothers you, then throw on cold blooded and stop complaining imo.

This prestige I'm going to be trying to go for diamond LMGs which I've never used before. I got a target finder on one of them and tried to use it, and it's absolutely horrible for head shots. I'll probably use it for a bit just to get the calling card for 500 target finder kills or whatever, but I really don't like using it.

Rather be using scavenger tbh, 80% of the time I live long enough to actually need it, plus its useful for equipment.

As for your decision, decide what's more annoying; getting hit while shooting at someone else, or being seen by a target finder.

There's also the option of having both perks if it's that important to you.

All Target Finder (intentionally) does is show you something you can already see. Not only that but it can easily be countered. How this could be considered "over powered", I don't even know.

However, I do see the use in this, giving people will low resolution televisions a chance to actually see people the way us with decent TV's and HDMI cords can... at the loss of quite a bit of peripheral vision of course.

People are just blind. Whether they have a horrible TV or not.

I've gotten use to using a target finder with a gun or two and I say it both hurts and helps my ability to see people. The scope obviously covers some of your view for one disadvantage. Not to mention sometimes I miss more "obvious" targets because I am focusing on or looking for the red box.

I personally use scavenger to place betties in the Enemy spawn points on Demolition.

Easy 1-4 kills/betty. I fucking lay mine fields yo.
