Not true.
A pack is dropped anytime someone is killed by ANYONE with scavenger. The pack is then available to everyone on that team running scavenger, but there is only one.
For example, if you kill an enemy with bullets, then a teammate with scavenger on runs over the body he will take your pack so you cannot grab it. And vice versa; if a teammate with scavenger gets the kill, you can take the pack if you're running scavenger. Packs do not exist to anyone not running scavenger and will not drop from any sort of explosive damage. Direct impack from the xbow, noob tubes, or grenades will drop a pack, but if they're killed by the resulting explosion it won't.This post was edited by DeadlySanity on Dec 16 2012 09:22pm
