i disagree, as long as he keeps commentating on the most popular game out he will in my opinion always have alot of views/subscribers.

call of duty isn't going to last forever. who's going to watch a 60 year old woodysgamertag playing video games? lmao. i don't think youtube offers 401k or retirement plans. kind of laughable seeing some youtubers dropping out of college and quitting their jobs to pursue a career in making internet videos. what the fuck is their back up plan?

you will learn some invaluable skills with editing programs as well as perhaps marketing experience and maybe some familiarity with java and html, but on the whole - you definitely understand what i'm talking about. lol

huge gamble even with that minimal IT and marketing experience they're gaining. they're depending on a terribly unstable career that is based on their performance. no sick days, no holidays, must have consistent content to get the views, etc. that shit has to be stressful as hell. i would never depend on a job like that to support a family. totally irresponsible IMO.

The bigger guys are under contract from Machinima tho, so they have steady paychecks + whatever they get from their channels. And some one them make bank.
