How is the MTAR / Vepr good?

I tried them both, with grip / red dot and grip / muzzle break and they bounce all over the place and I can't get a mid range kill as I die 2 shots from every AR no matter the distance.

Is there a secret combo of attachments?

Rapid fire / grip maybe?

Idk.

Imo put in a perk that gives more life only viable to people who aren't using an AR.
Seems fair imo considering I can't even snipe vs AR's..
When I do out shoot them I just get shot in the back when they spawn and ADS and shoot because thats typically the only way I die, or the infamous lag compensation around corners when I shoot 2-3 bullets and get no hit markers but in the killcam I didn't shoot one bullet.

This game needs some serious patchs.
Might have to be a bitch and buy Xbox 1 just for dedicated servers so its all equal.

I get so tired of using AR's though...I've always been a sub machine gun kinda guy anyways..

As for OP, just stop running out into the open areas and engaging in long range warfare. SMG's are meant for CQB.

I do not run out in the open, and its not long range, its mid range.
Example - Prison Break

People camping laying down on top of the hill, by the truck, I come around the truck and slide/start shooting him catching him off guard, shit bounces all over the place from not that far away and I get 3 shot by an silenced Remington..and I use Focus so when he hits me it shouldnt even be that bad.
Sigh I just hate being forced to generally use a fucking AR in this game with its slow ass mobility and ADS speed.
Every time I use a AR i get sprayed close range, then when I toss on a SMG I get fucking sniped by AR's.
It just gets so annoying.

I just don't find the gun balance good in this game...
Its majority AR or get shit on.
Long/Mid/Close range there is just a superior AR.

Hip-firing/Anything AK-12 > game at close/mid/long range.
Red dot Remington > game at mid/long.
Anything honey badger > game at close/mid range.

I don't play this game to tryhard, I play to have fun, and its more stressful then fun.

That is a terrible engagement with the an SMG. SMG s for close quarters combat, not midrange. You shouldn't be able to win that engagement. You also are downhill from him which is a disadvantage.

only time i see pubstars use smgs is on strikezone and its always the mtar

i see the stray vepr\mtar on occasion but they're never doing that good

gotten better with mtar red dot/grip and pop fires are doing well for me mid/long range as it kills in 4 bullets from across the map and being able to drop shot makes the smgs pretty powerful with stalker to because of how fast im moving and strafing and how quicker i ADS . I keept trying the MSBS but i just cant do good with it. I get too many hit markers lol.

My main guns are remington / honey / mtar / usr or whatever the bolt action sniper is.

Remington on big maps honey when i need go tryhard and mtar on mid/small maps and i only snipe on certain maps like stonehaven/jail break.
