Little early but I think this might be my least favorite CoD i've played : / CoD4 -> present

Never was a fan of the "buy whatever you want at any level", like level progression much more. Though I got over this and loved BO1

Maps are complex or big or something. Something strange about the maps, idk if they are just too big or more complex than CoD usually is but I can't find paths through the maps that dont lead to getting shot from a different direction every time

Radar is toast. The new Sat Com thing makes radar dots and trying to estimate spawn switch/locations basically impossible. Kill one or two guys there's always another shooting me from the side or the back.

Spawns are without a doubt the worst of any CoD game I have played. Just absolutely terrible, in every game mode I've played, Cranked being the worst.

I Like the class customization but I think I liked BO2's more. I find myself wanting more perks after Im down to just a primary. And I feel like once you've chosen a 2 of the good perks (Quickdraw, Stalker, Focus...) you basically just have to use whatever 1 pointers seem the least useless

It feels like every gun kills instantly. Most of the time I don't even get a red screen I just pop. Automatic guns don't need 30 round clips when the first bullet is killing people.

Don't know why they just up and removed the prestige system. Leveling up to max prestige was always one of my biggest reasons for putting in hours and hours. Squads is an alright idea I suppose but don't see why both couldn't have stayed.


There are some good things its got going for it

The weapons having default attachments is cool makes for cool customized loadouts

Some of the new perks are really unique and cool ideas, wish I had extra perk points to use some of them, like ping, or critical.

Squad points seem a more balanced currency. It sucks ass right now because I want to try everything and cant afford it, but maybe later it wont be like BO where currency was useless because you had so much nothing mattered, you already knew what you wanted to buy.

Patch's and their little sayings are a step up for IW usual calling card, but I prefer Treyarch's make your own system.

Some new game modes are really fun, Cranked is really fun to play, and search and rescue is, at least for me, a more bearable version of search (though Im sure dedicated search players probably disagree) Haven't tried infected yet, could be fun

I realy like the guns, maps, attachment, perks, pointstreaks, but there is few things that is stupid:

-Squad system: why making 10 characters, that can prestige only 1 time each. Why not 1 character that can prestige 10 times ? It would just be better to change classes, titles, emblem,etc...
-game modes: i understand that they needed to remove some game modes to add new ones, but removing demolition, which was one of the most popular game modes on every cod, was a stupid idea. Atm, the only objectives game modes are domination and blitz.
-at the beginning of the game, sometime you need to wait 1 minute because some people have a poor connection and cant join the game...
-Dogs...since when are dogs able to kill humans just by jumping on you ? They should do something about it...like need to press buttons to kill the dogs or something like that.

Picking it up tonight and I doubt I'll have any of these complains lol.

Learning the maps always takes some time and it always feels like you're getting shot from everywhere when you're playing a map you don't know.

Lacks prestige system? How could that possibly be a negative, will probably cut down on boosters and prestige has never been an indicator of someone's skill, so why does it matter?

1-3 shot kills (not 1) from the streams I've watched anyways. I don't know how many bullets you can get hit with, but I like the idea of added realism. Obviously it will take some adjustment but I don't see this as a negative, it could actually be a nice change of pace.

-at the beginning of the game, sometime you need to wait 1 minute because some people have a poor connection and cant join the game...
-Dogs...since when are dogs able to kill humans just by jumping on you ? They should do something about it...like need to press buttons to kill the dogs or something like that.

Yeah playing with people who have shit a connection sounds fun, shame on you Infinity Ward.

I haven't had the problem with dogs that some others have. If I were to say anything it'd be how weak they are as a killstreak. Personally if i ran assualt I'd pick something else.

If you are getting the game I think you'll see what people are saying about the maps, they're just.. odd.. for a cod game.

The prestige thing is more of a personal thing for me, I enjoyed climbing the prestiges like leveling in an MMORPG, kidof a stupid incentive for an FPS i know, but hey, that's me.

I realize that quick kills brings realism but bringing realism to video games is not a good argument. I'd rather have a little breathing room for some counterplay. rather than get caught by 3 rounds from an assualt rifle from across the map and not even get a look at my assailant

The 1 shot was just an example, I don't care how good of a shot you are and how high of a sensitivity you have, if you're getting shot in the back there's no making it out alive by turning on them.

I like the prestige system, it makes it better, more unique characters.

Well I just bought it. I'll post back tomorrow if I'm feeling any of this as being unfair/stupid or w/e. I think it will just be an adjustment period though and I'm glad they are trying something slightly new at least.

Except the dog growls when an enemy is nearby, which is like rocking Amplify without the perk.

In cod waw dogs was rarer then dogs in ghost... Everyone can can dogs by doing 2-3 kills... In waw it took more then 3 kills, and you knew there was attack dogs...and it was like 3 bullet to kill one.

In ghost, any1 can get dogs in 30 sec. Dogs have more hp than the humans...thats stupid lol
