So I was mid game the other night and my xbox started making a sound like it was chewing the fucking disc. Turned it off as quickly as possible but bo2 still got a nice little ring around it. I've been able to play a little bit, unfortunately I've had frequent game freezes and a couple unable to load map errors. Usually it happens about 1 every 3 games, which is unacceptable if I'm trying to league or Gb with my buddies.

Would installing a rented copy of the disc enable me to play online using the scratched disc? I've trying to do some research but haven't found any specifics about multi-player working or not.

If anyone has any input at all, it would be greatly appreciated. I've already checked out rentals in my area and it looks like I can have it ordered to a Redbox closeish to my house.

Why not just pay $5 and get it fixed?

Lol lmk where and I'd be more than happy to go this route. "fixing" a disc in the past has never worked for me.

Lol I could do this, I feel that's dishonest though. Not really my MO. I could also go get a prepaid card with like $3 on it and get one free from Redbox, once again though; That's not really my thing.
