i was wondering if hard-wired works for this.

it seems everyone and his brother is running them on the nuketown playlist, and since people die a ton on that map - it's pretty much buzzlightyear meme the whole damn game.

Yeah hardwired makes it to where emps don't effect you at all. You can even see the uav as well. Haven't played without the perk in a long time.
There is so much shit in the game my setup is flak jacket hardwired tactical mask

If you throw your EMP nade at you after you've been EMP naded the effect will get off instantly.

yeah we tried hard wired. it kind of works, but its such a waste of a perk. such an internal conflict
