Hey guys I'm trying to hit 100 subs on my channel.

your thought process is broken.. why wouldn't you want subscribers who genuinely like your content? subscribing based on nothing will only get the crowd you don't want who are either inactive or thumb down your vids.

.....I'm not asking for that. I'm simply asking for 6 of my friends on here to sub so I can hit 100 .
I'll start uploading when I have people to upload for. I wouldn't want someone that doesn't like my content to sub.
Reaching 100 will simply motivate me to start uploading more that's all.

I think Eric means that those 6 friends will oprobably sub to your channel, but will also not watch your videos. Friends normally sub for compromise, and it doesn't help at all.
The best thing you can do is do good videos (of whatever you like doing) and send the good ones to big channels. That might give you a shout out or something, and that really does help.

Trust Eric, it won't help you to get to 100subs any further that having 94, unless one of those 6 subs has 500subs+ on his channel, which will make them also come and watch your videos
