I can not think of ANY use for this shield. Please enlight me why this would be worth more than spirit.

And before you say "but 20/30 saves you a lot of stats"...

Compare the stats you gain from spirit (22 vita / 112 mana / etc) to the few stats you save by not skilling dex for block.

Don't get me wrong, I appresiate your opinion as anyone else's, but I'm humbly asking another one. I don't have much experience with lld/mld indeed. All the vita, mana and the resistances you get from spirit with fhr/fcr are great, but as far as I know there are melee builds which don't require mana/fcr. Also all of the resistances can be avoided. It seems like you don't note the 2 free sockets at all. Don't they already give quite an edge, right? I could be wrong, but as I consider all this I just can't see how it is less useful than a spirit for a certain build. Correct me, please.
