Thanks for all the answers
I don't know if you've seen the level 27 char and 119 str needed to have an almost perfect defense (97%ed) plus some dex and mana that also contribute.
If it was red or blue with 15str etc, it would need level 48+ to equip.
Does what I have just said change the judgment of this ornate at all?

you can have str and life on an ornate it still be lvl 30 req and have -req iirc
yes you can have 60 life under lvl 30 reqs on armor
a good lld ornate would be 80+ed 40+life -30req
9 str is max for lvl 30 armors, so a great lld nate would have 5-9 str too

yeah ornate pretty much always needs life
my opinion on nate stat priority:
1.) def/life
2.) str/req
3.) dex/rep/res
4.) plr/drb/ar/etc
an ornate with no life or no %ed is rarely if ever worth much
what i meant by this is that the two most important, above-all-else modifiers an ornate needs is defense and life
if one or the other is missing entirely, it will be very rare to be worth keeping. youll know because itll have every other good mod available and only then be worth some change probably
only after checking those two boxes, you can look for str or reqs. dex res and rep are nice but don't swap one for one with str or req. like if it has dex AND rep instead of -reqs thats cool
try to imagine if str and req were equal (combined) in value as def or life. dex combined with some res might be about as valuable as one of str or reqs
two #2s to equal one #1, two #3s to equal one #2 and so on. so having max dex rep and two resistances probably still doesnt (or just barely) make up for the lack of life or ed
