you got lucky. I have had several lower requirement bplates that a sorc, or necro might be interested in using, all with much higher resists than your cuirass - as well as seen plenty of other's similar to mine - they just don't get the love from the typical folks in the market. (bplate and cuirass giving roughly the same appearance, but the curiass of course having much higher requirements, and somewhat higher Def on average)
as was mentioned above, the proper place to brag about it would have been in the offer thread after folks bad-mannered spammed in it.
most of the folks giving price opinions are doing so as established, and active traders, and even like a formal appraisal on a house, or shopping center, ultimately it boils down to an opinion. most folks aren't looking for the speculative price that someone
might get, but a
more probable price that an item may fetch.
one way of determining which price you actually did get, is to ask yourself, would you reverse the trade if you were seeking an armor and had a soj in hand?
