If people still dupe jewels on west expansion non ladder (they do dupe jewels there)
that means it's possible to dupe any item on any realm
(or at least in the past it was possible, it might be harder to dupe items on classic, not really sure)however
people are not inclined to dupe on west classic because it's such a small community
there is like 15 people on west classic forums at a given time, on west expansion ladder / west expansion non laddder there is 100 people on those forums at a given time
so it makes more sense to dupe items where the people are, hence where the money is (forum gold)
that also stands for people selling unperms as unperms (like 37 x 3/20/20's or 37 x 451 pdsc's)
but there are no charms in classic, so I guess that is a little bit different
