Yeah, we were tired after defeating Hitler and liberating France.

That makes sense since they were two different battalions of soldiers.

No, I am an engineer, I set up and drill wells and test mineral deposits and dirt composition, that way all the branches can have fresh water to drink, and shower with...i only deploy to bare bases...last time we were allowed 3 showers per week with 2 water bottles per shower....i dont deploy to places with water available i set up the water for the others who go there..but they have it soooo tough

potable water is over rated. VG gets you out of patrols for a solid 4 days

"Are you fucking high? The marines are tough because they are just made to fight, the navy are a bunch of lazy fucks who we have to pick up after. The army....they just arent very smart...its not their fault they were brain washed that way. AF is far from cushy if you have the job I have or any job in REDHORSE for that matter."

03xx is made to fight. There are many more occupational posts in the USMC that require noncombat training scenarios, yet we all partake in the same boot camp, the same MCT, the same training anyone 03xx does until SOI of course, which teaches weapons training, not physical so much.

You might have it hard, but that was because you were scared when you decided to join the service, you ended up w/ a shitty AFQT score on the asvab and got accepted into the AF w/ a low score, in all honesty.

I know we are supposed to admire and respect eachother *services*, but I really have a hard time doing so, considering how fucking easy you have it.

Your company sucks dick, then pass your qualification tests, get promoted, and quit doing grunt AF work. I'd rather be infantry burning human fecal matter than be in the air force.

YA....What he said!

Nope, I had dysentery for almost 2 weeks and had to work every day because when you start drilling a well you cant stop, its a 24 hour operation, 2 teams 16 hours each, 8 hours overlapping

Really? You're criticizing people who do actual combat missions because you supply their water? I know what you do isn't easy, but I remember while in the Balkan Mountains the AF guys got nice heated barracks and their own bathrooms while the Army Rangers were standing behind my running tank trying to warm up in the exhaust.

Combat guys appreciate support guys, but we're the guys sleeping on tanks in the woods, or on the ground in a ditch trying to stay small.
