Normal Characters that predate the 1.10 patch or characters created after 1.10 that are not created as Ladder Characters. Which means 1.10 was first ladder season

THe site states from 2nd ladder which was official after the first short ladder

Ladder reset 5+ times it is season 6 or 7

Ladder is a ranking tool. There was ranking in 1.03. You could look up peoples levels on the 'ladder'. Hell, ladder ranking existed on starcraft** before diablo 2 was even released. I would have to say that the ladder ranking system was around sinse the begging of d2 regardless of what one particular site states. But in the end what does it really matter?

Any more bids on this wand?

**I was ranked in top 5 of starcraft ladder all first and second year of the game being out. Do i win a prize?

I was ranked top 2 in ladder season 5 of diablo II prize was not handed to me although they said it might be possible.
