There's no delay while entering a town portal, it's only going in and out trap doors/waypoints.
However, I'm sure they'll fix this, if it isn't already fixed..
I think the real problem is, you, and a lot of people are upset that they'll need to drop $800+ on a pc or $500+ on an ps5/xbox in order to play...
Look, the game's been dead as fuck for AGES, spend the little bit of money and play D2R.
I'm sure you'll get the enjoyment out of your money you used to buy a good pc.(Fuck Console)
Not to mention you can always sell it down the road for a decent return. Don't know where all the salt comes from.
