I attest to the fact that range is important ( Bsnap has merely 2 as opposed to pike.. which has 5?), but if you are planning on dealing crazy damage then you need a lld -30 req lance, not this.
This is well put and I wont try to change your mind on it, but I will stand by my opinion that this pike is at least equal to a Bone Snap or better in situations where range 5 would come into play.
Edit: But with that being said I also believe that a -30% lance would be greater then both.
