I think you can right click the game icon and then in that menu go to run using xp sp2 or whatever. Hope this helps

right click on short cut, run program as admin, and in compatability mode for win xp

Runs fine on my Vista computer without having to do anything special. I login with an admin account tho. I love Vista but you do have to have a good computer with lots of memory i.e. at least 2GB imo.
