Warden is never getting turned off. It was originally brought back in place in 1.12 but during the beginning of the season it gave battle.net difficulties and caused more internal server problems causing the game to be unplayable at certian times. Now that theyve fixed the kinks theyre just leaving it on until next season when they try to implement more schemes into warden. The reason they are testing warden is for Diablo III , they will be using the same type of mechanism and want to make sure to get it right so things like duping (which doesnt have to do with warden), botting, and general cheating can be left out of reach to the hackers who steal the experience from legit players. /thread
