got a small space carved for a home gym as part of my basement reno
thinking of getting something i can do squats/deadlifts/bench press with

looking at this at the moment, thoughts? - anything over 82 inches will not fit due to the ceiling height

i would like a folding alternative that doesn't require it to be bolted to the wall, this one would be ideal but it's too tall

also what kind of mats do you guys use to protect flooring from weights?

All my gear is from rep fitness. Can't go wrong with the price and quality. Don't skimp out on a bench though, nothing worse than a wobbly bench.

1st one looks solid. 2nd one not so much. there's a staggering price difference as well and usually that kind of discloses the quality.

Ive always been a fan of Rogue squat stands.

For floors nothing is going to beat the rubber horse stall mats in terms of bang for your buck.
