It's should only be supplementary to a well rounded lifestyle, not the main attraction. With that said, if you are a hard gainer, it's a great way to fit in extra calories and protein to fit your macros.

Most proteins should come from food but it's certainly convinient to be able to cover this macronutrient with a scoop or two whey/iso.

you can added to some foods. i like two scoops with a lot of milk in a bowl.

you can do cream of rice and 1-2 scoops.

you can do oats and 1-2 scoops.

you can do rice and a bit of milk and some protein.

however I would not recommend more than 1-2 scoops per day. so lets say 40-50 grams of protein.

the rest should be from food.

I use it to fill in the gaps, usually 3-4 scoops a day. Can be hard to hit protein goals with meat alone, especially if you are trying to hit higher numbers.

I hire a professional nutritionist and she has me on 275-310 Grams of protein a day. Sometimes I have to throw in an extra scoop to hit the marks she wants me too.

Whey is also my preference, just more goodies In the mix than not.

Real food>>>powder

But protein powder can help with muscle gain.
Especially if combined with creatine.
Assuming weight training also.

Is virtually impossible to lose weight on it though.
So depends on goals.

I use grass fed iso.

That's incorrect sir. Weight loss is affected by energy balance. Protein intake doesn't cause weight gain unless you're in surplus.

3-4 scoop isn't ''filling the gaps'' because you get around 100g of protein from them.
