I just got back into lifting on a strict schedule without missing no days
After 9 weeks of 5x5 I smashed my old PRs (albeit that was 60 pounds lighter)
I'm debating switching programs now to 5/3/1 or high volume
it's summer so I kinda want to lift Mon through Fri if there's a bro split that works that way

5/3/1 would be way less volume. It’s practically 1 working set each day

When I take long breaks and come back to lifting I start with basically 5/3/1 for a few weeks to see where I’m at, then I up the volume.
