This is quite a generalised question, but f you're doing a challenging weight for 6-8 reps how long roughly would you take in between sets? I've recently been going with a friend who takes literally 30 seconds between sets but I prefer to take 2 minutes to counteract fatigue.

I typically take 2-5 min depending on the intensity.
