What would you be eating if you just strained a muscle?
Would it change from your day to day diet?

Hey dude you should RICE without the E that area 3-4 times a day.
You're probably already doing it but it's so god damn important if you want to heal fast. Deal with that icing man.
Good blood flow is the only way to heal fast. Then stay super super hydrated so your blood can flow around freely like a fking river after a rain storm. The only thing better then this is probably some mixture of roids and stem cells injections lol

Uhhh...
Why shouldnt I elevate it?
Why should I ice it if you want to promote fluid blood flow? Wouldn't ice just restrict blood flow.

Ice is good for acute injuries, heat is good for chronic injuries..

Ice restricts blood flow, IE if you have a fracture that is swelling you'd apply ice to the injury.. If you have chronic muscle pain, you'd apply heat.
