Looking into purchasing a juicer. I feel like it's be a great way to get in some more vegetables and fruits into a routine.

Anybody have one?

Recommendations on what one to buy? I've been doing a little research here and there.

Any favorite recipes?

Just go to the biggest dude at the gym. He's definitely your guy if you're looking for a juicer.

just a tablespoon each of those 3 powders is like a multivitamin. Doesnt taste super good but it's not bad. Add maca powder for better flavor

Nuts/com has good prices

Perfect! Will check out.

Was just wondering where to buy some of this, honestly never even heard of those powders aside from just wheat grass by itself.

I've had a blendtecc for like 7 years now. I basically just call them up every 1-2 years to replace my lids and almost everything plastic free of charge. It depends where you buy it though. That warrenty is nice.
You need to get used to the settings or it will just heat things up in there since it's OP in terms of blenders.
I make my own peanut butter with it and that's exactly why i have to get my stuff replaced every year or so lol. Besides nuts it really does blend everything perfectly.
It's insanely loud though even for a blender

I have a juicer. It's a pain to clean and not really worth the effort. Also a juicer removes most of the fiber and sometimes the nutrient-rich parts of the plant.

What I do recommend is a high quality blender by Vitamix or Blendtec (I own a Vitamix). It pulverizes whatever you put in it and basically comes out as a juice (if its too thick just add a liquid). Experiment with different things. Banana + orange is a great combo that can be built upon. I would avoid using apples because they come out bubbly and bitter.

Here is a recipe I make a lot:
1/2 banana (I slice an unpeeled banana in half and peel the half i'm using. I put the other unpeeled half in the fridge uncovered, then use it the following day)
3 orange segments (again, just set the rest of the orange in the refrigerator)
1/3 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup frozen berries (blueberry, raspberry, and/or strawberry)
3 baby carrots
1 spoon full of milled flax seed
A few ice cubes
Blend and add plain milk (almond, soy, rice, or cows milk) as needed until you get a milkshake-like consistency.
*A variation is to omit the berries and use a large handful of spinach instead.
**If any any point it tastes too sour or bitter, I add more carrots, or sometimes honey.

Why do i make this recipe? Because it's EASY.

High quality blenders are expensive but a worthy investment. They are very loud so you may want to keep some earmuffs in the kitchen 😂 not joking.

Perfect. I will have to check this out, I have a pretty old blender from the 70s (parents wedding gift lol). It works really well though!

Yeah, I passed the juicer. I figured based on what I heard to similar stuff like this.
Some of them sounded kinda iffy too on quality as well.

This sounds like a great recipe though.
Im just trying to find more healthy recipes to drink and get in a good mixture of different fruits/vegetables or other healthy calories from. So thank you!

Blended drinks like this just seem like the easiest way to get in all your healthy food sources!
