I was at the gym today and had a conversation and someone recommended eating a decent amount of sugar twords the end / immediately after workout, specifically dextrose... He said his choice was gummy bears (lol)
Thoughts? Is this good advice? Explanation? He explained I want to see if others explanation matches.

BCAAs are a waste of money, glucose-fructose in gummy bears is not the same as dextrose, eating sugar at the end of a workout is pretty useless. eat something substantial if youre going to eat. dont waste your time on garbage simple sugars
