So I consider myself a fairly advanced lifter. I was doing back/shoder/tri yesterday, and was finishing out a set of a pretty grueling tri work out.
For reference I did a heavy drop set 8/6/4x4 bar pull down and was finishing my 3rd set of 45 +25 plate bench dips 3x20. I remember I had a ridiculous pump going on. Like a pump from Narnia and back, full arm, which I found slightly strange, but whatever pump is where it is right? So I'm finishing up the last set of dips, usual pain associated with the exercise, nothing crazy, I get up and notice while my right arm is like wtf did we just do, my left arm was just chilling.
I then noticed my left tricep area had gone 'numb' basically. No pins and needles. No pain. No strength loss. Just a number feeling. For reference I did check my pulse and vitals both were totally fine. I'm not sure I've never had this before.
Flash forward 12 hours later, tricep feeling had returned, now just a slight numbness in upper bicep/upper forum area. Still no adverse feelings or strength loss.
Any body ever had this happen? I went too hard obviously. I can't find much on the internet. Found an old body building.com post where a guy had the same symptoms, and responses were basically don't be a pussy, which is about what I expected tbh. All I can guess is I strained or pinched a nerve somehow, due to the dip movements around the back and shoulder area.
