Over the last few months I've developed a weird soreness/pain in my upper back. It feels almost like an intense muscle soreness below my scapula and in the lat.

It developed slowly but now I feel it every time I put a load on my back. Been to the chiro and he believes it's extreme tightness and lack of thoracic movement since I have a desk job...

Been going for about 6 weeks and haven't really had any improvement yet. My deadlift has dwindled from ~525 down to ~400 and doesn't feel like it's going to stop.

Anyone experience this before? If so, how did you recover? I can't seem to get the soreness/pain to go away no matter what I do.

No shit... Stop wasting your time on a chiro.

How about you go to a specialist that actually deals with these problems like a PT.

*deals with any problems

chiropractors are not real healthcare providers, their practice does nothing at all aside from some mild placebo backpain relief
