i got my own fitness section in the cellar of my house. the floor is made of concrete with maroon paint.

is that enough to make the weights fly up and down or should i better invest into rubber mats (which are kinda expensive for some random rubber lol)

what about my feet. better stand on concrete or rubber as well?

my current equipment are a bench, a preacher curl bench, a rack with some extras for dips and other small exercises, 2 thick iron pipes in the wall for pullups and a free spot for deadlifts.

i mostly wanna cover the spot around the bench for when i have to drop a dumbell from being exhausted and ofc the deadlift spot, even tho i have no damage to the concrete yet.
