Had it ongoing for 4-5 years now.. long rest did nothing, just instant inflammation as soon as I started sport again. Last physio had me doing upper hamstring exercises, did nothing. Current physio has me doing exercises to bulk my chicken leg quads. But I'm not so sure that's going to make any difference.?
Any advice
RICE, NSAIDs and banded stretches will alleviate it eventually.
