Any have this issue?

Had it ongoing for 4-5 years now.. long rest did nothing, just instant inflammation as soon as I started sport again. Last physio had me doing upper hamstring exercises, did nothing. Current physio has me doing exercises to bulk my chicken leg quads. But I'm not so sure that's going to make any difference.?

Any advice

i got tendinitis after 6xday squatting, deep quad stretching and stretching tfl alleviated it for me

Had it 5-6 years ago from basketball in highschool. Hurt like a motherfucker.

Went to the doc and he gave me a prescription for a padded elasticlike band that puts gentle pressure right at the bottom of the kneecap. For some reason it helped quite a bit. No idea what the piece is called.

I just did whatever exercises in high school so I'm not too sure on that part.

RICE, NSAIDs and banded stretches will alleviate it eventually.
