What benefits do they have over regular flat heeled shoes like converses? I've been looking at the Adipowers and Romaleos but I'm debating whether its worth it to spend the $150-200 on them.

Do you have limited dorsi flexion? If not, don't bother imo. IF you plan on wearing them for more than squats then go for it.

Prefer flat. Own Adi powers. Squat in my wrestling shoes.

Why I prefer flat - I personally find I can feel my force pushing into the ground better.

Why I bought the Adi powers - was newer to lifting, thought they would solve shit form.

just use a cheap pair of vans or chucks, or barefoot. i wouldn't bother shelling out for a nice pair unless you're looking to compete or money is not a factor for yourself.

You can buy a pair for less than chucks..

I lift in Sabos because my dorsi flexion is horrible.. Chucks and vans don’t cut it lel

you can get squat shoes <$35-40? that's awesome iso link

chucks and vans are perfectly fine though. if you need a raised heel to squat though, obviously they won't help.

Ok ok, a little exaggerated on the price. But a pair of shoes doesn’t have to cost you 150 bucks. I spent 60 on mine and I love them.
