if you do crossfit, the best diet is going vegan.

Just...Eat

E: Ketogenic diet is dumb as fuck, your body works within a certain narrow pH, so when you put yourself into ketosis, it fucks all kinds of shit up.. Might not cause harm right now, but down the road it’ll kill you.

You need carbs if you're gonna be doing anything high intensity.... It's energy.. Good luck not passing out on a keto diet doing anything remotely close to Crossfit.

Eat whatever the fuck you want, just eat lots of it and stay away from Enriched wheat flours (everything) and processed sugar m8. Pretty simple shit.

Just gonna complicate things and say that felt energy increases by about 50% on a keto diet. But keto is not a crossfit diet, because keto is about weight loss and optimal metabolism, not energy production for intense bouts exercise, esp. including cardio.

The best strategy is to aim for micronutrition and worry about macro nutrition based on energy needs. Most diets make a big deal out of your carb/fat/protein diet but they neglect what really matters for health.
