I've been getting really pissed off with my gym lately with how terrible it has been as far as the climate goes inside

All summer long they lock the place up, and turn the fans on high and blast the A.C. and it literally gets down to 60 degrees and the bars get ice fucking cold. I'm tired of having to wear 3-4 layers of clothing just to sweat, and anytime i start to sweat and shed a layer or two, i'm literally cold again in 10 minutes.

then fall/winter come around, the problem then turns into them never wanting to turn the heat on or up at all, and have fans still blasting.

It blows my mind, am i crazy? or are you way better off lifting in a warmer climate? i understand a nasty hot humid place would be gross, but in general i feel like a gym should be a little bit on the hotter side than the colder

does anyone have any links to any articles on this subject? i've never really done too much research on it and in general i feel like i don't hear lifters talk about it much, but i can't imagine deadlifting or squatting while you're cold is the best thing for you.

Yeah that sounds too cold. I would prefer no AC over AC at 67 or below

I have around 16 celcius in my apartment so I'd say around that in the gym would be great.

tbh i prefer when it's hot

maybe that's b/c i grew up in cold places or maybe it's b/c i did a lot of outdoor summer training in hs and saw the benefits.

i'm good with 80+F, even 90+. i do hill sprints and play basketball in 90+ weather, and my sprint sessions last about an hour; basketball usually goes twice that long. i sweat a LOT though, so maybe i just have good ventilation?

Regular living temp around 15c is preferable, little colder for sleep.

Gym, around 23C is nice. The body will heat up at that temp and id rather sweat for my full workout. If I cold working out than I feel I'm more likely to be injured or have a bad workout.

Neither?

If I HAD to pick, I'd say cold.. I feel that fatigue would set in a whole lot slower in colder weather.

I get pretty pissed when my gym is too hot.

One day they didn't have the air on during this summer and I was sweating before I started to even workout. Went to deadlift and had to drop 20+ pounds from my working sets just due to my hands being so sweaty and not being able to grip the bar.

A gym should never be more that 70 degrees.
