so basically, I used to eat like shit

once I turned 18 I pretty much ate whatever I wanted

burgers, pizza, fries, you get the idea - im 26 now almost 27

now, I am on a super low carb diet - basically i dont eat bread, rice, pasta, any starches

I cut out sugary drinks completely

I still eat fruit

people say to keno, but I am not sure at the moment

Is this the right way to go about losing body fat? I am also starting to work out with a goal of getting stronger and looking better

The right way to lose weight is by going into a caloric deficit. Eat 2-500 calories below your maintenance "maintenance calories are how many you need to maintain your current weight."

There are no secrets, eat less. It can be shit food like pizza, but as long as you're below your maintenance calories you'll lose weight.

You will want at least to buy a pair of dumbbells, 15 pounds or 20 pounds to start depending on your size
They're cheap

As for cardio, watch anabolic aliens on youtube, they have bunch of fat burning workouts and dumbells 5 mins tabata workouts

Jog ~ 40 mins wish at least 4-5 days a week at least

Dont eat sugar, avoid drink with any calories, drink water, eat mostly meats and proteins, low carb except before you do cardio unless you wanna do on empty stomach

I ate my first Twinkie today, and a charleston chew, and McDonald's. And nachos. It was a good day

I don't like low carb diets, try something you can maintain for years. Its all about moderation.

What do you eat with your meat? Just by itself? Or only salad?

Same. There's no benefit of doing a keto diet vs normal calorie deficit diet with carbs anyway. Not to mention being in ketosis causes you to have terrible breath. It's just a fad thing like paleo diet was.

I've seen this happen a hundred times where someone with excess body fat wants to lose the fat and they go on a low carb high fat high protein diet in order to do so. These people usually burn out within a couple of weeks because sustaining this type of diet leaves them in a state of ketosis where they have little to no energy to do the workouts that they initially intended to do. Such people will then give up on themselves and go back to eating their unhealthy original diet which got them overweight in the first place.

Such fools think that carbohydrates are the enemy because they have been dumbed down by an uneducated societal norm which told them so.

If you really want to lose weight I recommend eating a high carb low fat diet which will consist of mostly fruits and vegetables. The fruits will give you plenty of energy to workout and you won't feel like shit all the time from being malnourished or in ketosis like so many fools have tried and failed.

With this said you will need to burn more calories in a day than you consume in order to lose weight... Why not make the calories that you put into your body count by giving you energy, blood flow and glucose? carbohydrates and fiber - Fruits and vegetables are the best for weight loss.
