Anyone ever heard of/seen any lawsuits against commercial gyms for faulty barbells or barbells that lack proper knurling?
I was benching earlier and my grip was slipping because there's little to no knurling on the crappy bars the gym buys. I brought this to the attention of the gym but was told "maybe in the future we'll consider that request but not now" which seems weird for something so cheap.
I want to provide links to lawsuits that have occurred from situations like this in the past. I very nearly lost my grip today on bench for the first time in 5 years.

Chalk up your hands you fukkin pussy.
A lawsuit cuz your pathetic little fingers couldn't hold onto a bar that's literally been designed to be held onto
I'm with turtol on this one. Quit being a beta and learn to grip. Everybody is suing everything in today's litigious world... It is making our country turn into a bunch of babies with no sense of personal accountability. If something bad happens to you we are taught always to blame something else... Grow the fuck up and learn to hold yourself accountable... If you realize that you might be putting yourself in a potentially dangerous situation by lifting bars that have "little to no knurling" either DON'T fucking use the bar or MAN THE FUCK UP... Coming to d2jsp to ask about lawsuits on such said subject...

Pathetic.
