I'm testing 80mg/dl on keto test piss strips which is considered a "large" amount according to the test.

have been eating 20-25 net carbs for two weeks. so sick of the thought of eating more green vegetables, oils, and meats. craving sugar and carbohydrate so badly.

that said, my mental clarity has greatly improved.

how the fk does anyone do this diet consistently

no such thing as inadequate glucose. your liver can make all the glucose you need in a day- via gluconeogenesis or through the glycerol component of the bonded glycerol/fatty acid matrix in the fat you're consuming/have stored. some in the vegetables you're eating, etc. only a handful of cell types in your body are obligate glucose users. 75% of the brain uses glucose preferentially, meaning in the absence of glucose it will use ketones, which end up being a virtually endless fuel source, as your body fat can be harvested to fuel your brain. hence the clarity-- you don't have the low blood sugar ups and downs. you have a continuous fuel source

this is very common side effect of the ketogenic diet. not sure why you'd try to be a smart ass about that. lul
