What would you guys suggest to be the best underwear if I'm going to be on my feet running/doing physical stuff for 18 hours a day every day. I won't have time to adjust them and I don't want them riding up. I was thinking either compression shorts, or just not wearing underwear at all, It's going to be very hot where I'm going so I'm not concerned with keeping my junk warm.

I also had a question about the hipstrap of a ruck. Mine is extremely uncomfortable and cuts into the sides of my hip and sits too low, it causes my hip flexors to get extremely cramped after only about 1km in with a bag only weighing 50lbs. I also get pretty bad rashes and bruises just in that spot, I can't adjust the hipstrap to move up at all, nor can I change my bag out, any tips?

infantry course.

I won't have time to change underwear, would take me 3-5 minutes to get my pants and boots off and back on

Then you're doing it wrong!
But yes, you probably won't have time to change out during a training course.

I didn't have any issues with Hanes Tagless during MCT. They start the day tight, but they'll loosen up a bit as the day wears on.
Also, invest in some Anti-Monkey Butt. - http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/

That shit is a fucking godsend when you're out all day, and it's quick to dump on your junk when you're in a portashitter.

I'll check those out, thanks a lot!

I gotta work on my time to get my pants etc on, socks take forever to put on, so do boots and blousing/that ridiculous belt/getting reamed out when I'm getting nakey in the middle of a field.

e/ is that monkey butt stuff just baby powder?

It's calamine and talc for anti-itch and to keep your junk dry.

EDIT: I can show you a trick for the boots if you want to PM me your number. I'll break my boots out real fast and send you a video.

Holy fuckin shit Private! I'm both 19D and 11B. You'll be fine. Quit your worrying. Drink water and stay motivated. The hip straps WILL dig in. They will cut you up and scab over. Eventually your hips will be tougher and this won't happen as much. You literally have nothing to worry about when it comes to UNDERWEAR or rucking lmao. When you get to Sand hill they'll issue you underwear (tan thunders). It's not like you're doing the damn Bataan Death March at OSUT lol! You'll have to do a 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20k to graduate. 20k is literally 3 hours TOPS. Lmk if you need any advice brah. (6 years in, made it to Sergeant in 2 1/2 years.)

Edit: You will chafe... Vaseline will become your best friend on those ruck marches. Put that shit all between your nuts and legs, put some on your ass hole and entire ass crack lol. Asshole chafing is the absolute worst!
