1/4th of my calorie intake was sugars+caffeine, I quit a couple days ago and have been EXTREMELY exhausted.
First + Second day
I couldn't stay up my normal times (9AM~3AM)(~18hrs)
I had headaches and super sensitivity to light.
I slept erratically for the first night (3hrs here 4hrs there 1hr nap)
Day 3+
Headaches are gone, back pain is back(Caffeine suppresses pains like these)
My body temperature is a lot cooler, I'm not getting as hot as I use to.(Probably from all the caffeine)
My sleep schedule randomly reverted back to 7AM-12PM(my circadian rhythm reset itself?)
What do I eat? (I'm not eating enough now that 1/4th of my calories are gone)
I use to drink soda+water, now I'm drinking flavored water(pomegranate packs)(I drank about 0.5 Liters of Mtn dew a day(and about half as much water))
I don't want to 100% quit sugars, because that would just suck. But, I'm not going to drink syrup(Soda) which just made me feel shitty after a couple hours
I'm not looking to become a bodybuilder.
What are some generally good foods that aren't expensive; and please don't say peanuts, or some random tribe food only found in Africa- I'm not ordering shit online.
So far I just picked up some canned pasta, pecan twirls, and am eating meats+vegetables for dinner. Popcorn for lunch/snack today. Friend potatoes for breakfast, had BBQ ribs+corn lastnight.
What I cut out of my life
By the estimates 0.5 Liters of Soda per day (33.5oz/day) 12oz = 170 calories. 14 Calories per oz
365 * 33.5oz = 12,227oz - * 14 = 171,185 Calories per year -> 68.474lbs of soda per year (2500calories/lb)
(469 Calories per day from soda)
1 Gram of sugar per oz = 12.227 Kilograms of sugar. That is 3 and 1/3rd Gallons of Water(A gallon of water is 8lb)
